Collaboration with LNEC Portugal for the analysis of historical building materials of Therasia
Granted access was given by IPERION HS| Integrating Platforms for the European Research Infrastructure on Heritage Science (https://www.iperionhs.eu/) . We worked for a week at the Materials Microstructure Laboratory of the LNEC National Laboratory in Lisbon (http://www.lnec.pt/en) and together with leading researchers in the field of historic mortar analysis we examined the building materials of Agrilia (Therasia, Cyclades) using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
