Boulouki team gave a presentation on October 12, 2021, entitled The use of 'theran tephra' in Aegean traditional building techniques: a case-study from Therasia island, GREECE at the annual meeting of The Geological Society of America,Inc. (www.geosociety.org) , with participants from all over the world.
The presentation was about our research on 'theran earth' as a natural Pozzolanic material, documenting its use in traditional building techniques of Therasia, and the application of new materials based on historical practice in the participatory restoration project 'Under the landscape'.
